Tax Savings and Money Management for the Self Employed Professional
For years I have been in the business of cosmetology, real estate investing and accounting and have often said that for entrepreneurs to get ahead in business they must understand they are artists of their profession first, and secondly or possibly thirdly, businesspeople. If I can be brutally honest, most of us have the notion that we will go to trade or technical school or college, graduate, and have customers lined up waiting to bring us their dollars. Then reality hits and we realize it is not how we envisioned it. Thus, this is the purpose of this handbook. Most professionals that we face, such as bankers, attorneys, and accountants, treat the self-employed the same as other businesses. Thus, most cosmetologists, plumbers and independent truck drivers feel as though they are not benefited by their tax professional.
